Thermic was established on 10th June, 1990 in premises at
Greenvale, an outer northern suburb of Melbourne, Australia.
Over the past 10 years the primary role of the company has
been service of steam raising and gas fired equipment. As the
company has grown, we have expanded our range of services and
resources to meet client needs.
In this time many Installation and Commissioning projects have
been completed, including gas/diesel/oil fired steam boilers,
hot water boilers (ie. Maxitherm, Esteam, Cleaver Brooks,
George & George, Hoval, Hunt, Presha, Alliance, Martech) and
electric boilers plants.
Conversion of solid fuel boilers and oil fired boilers to LPG
or natural gas. Installation of dual fuel and air ratio
monitored combustion systems.
Maintenance Contracts for steam plants ranging from 3hp –
1000hp, from gas fired to solid fuel boilers.
In 1997, a significant year for Thermic, the company moved
into new manufacturing facilities in Campbellfield, another
industrial area in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
In 1998, Thermic turned its expertise to developing a new
range of compact water tube boilers that were both energy and
fuel-efficient. To be known as the “TS” series and “TW”
series, they were available in varying capacities as well as
either being vertical or horizontal in design.
In 1999, Thermic designed and manufactured a “TOH” series of
Thermal Oil Heater, which uses diesel or gas to heat gold
eluate for Mining Industries.
Since its formation, Thermic is heavily committed to an
ongoing programme of research and development in boilers,
autoclaves, pressure vessels, thermal oil heaters and
combustion equipment. In addition, Thermic has appointed and
trained agents with service facilities in Melbourne, Sydney,
Brisbane and Perth.
Although Australian owned, Thermic has achieved the status of
a multi-national and is continuing its expansion into overseas
markets.
The company has exported to Asia/Pacific, Europe and South
America, Indonesia, Sweden and Peru.
